What this site knows about you, and what it does with it. Short version: very little, and nothing is sold.

Who runs this site

Conceptoscope is made and run by Muhammad Raheel(opens in a new tab). For any question about your data, write to me through the contact page.

What we collect

You can read, practise and take mock tests without an account. Then we store nothing about you.

  • With a free account: your name, your email, your class if you choose it, and your password as a one-way scrambled code (nobody can read it, not even me).
  • When you use the site signed in: your quiz and mock test results, and the topics you mark as done.
  • When you report a mistake or send a message: what you write, and your email if you give it.
  • To stop spam, we turn your IP address into a one-way code. The address itself is never stored.

Cookies and browser storage

  • One cookie, only when you are signed in: it keeps you signed in (for up to 30 days, or until you sign out).
  • Your browser remembers two small settings on your device: light or dark mode, and the class you picked for the Daily 5.
  • No tracking or advertising cookies.

Analytics and ads

Right now the site has no analytics and no ads. If we add page counting later, it will use a tool without cookies that stores no personal data. Before any ads appear, this page will explain them. The date at the top shows the last change.

How we use it

  • To run your account and show your progress.
  • To answer your messages and fix the mistakes you report.
  • To keep the site safe (for example, to block too many sign-in tries).

We never sell your data, and never give it to anyone for advertising.

Who else sees it

Only the companies that host the site, its database and its files, and only to run them. Nobody else, unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

  • Your account and results: until you ask us to delete them.
  • Messages and mistake reports: until they are answered or fixed, and a short time after.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time. Write through the contact page from the email of your account.

Children

The site is for students of Class 9 to 12. If you are under 13, please ask a parent or guardian before you make an account.
